What is the Role?

The School has an exemplary PDHPE program and is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and highly experienced PDHPE teacher to join the team of committed and professional staff. This is a full-time one year contract role, parental leave replacement position for 2025.

 

Who will the successful applicant be?

  • Experienced PDHPE Teacher with the ability to inspire secondary age students
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to work as part of a dynamic PDHPE team
  • Confidence using technology and willingness to embrace it to enhance learning
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recent developments in the theory/practice of senior secondary pedagogy and specifically how this applies to current PDHPE courses
  • Have a proven record in challenging and extending students of diverse abilities
  • Have an understanding of and be committed to the School’s Christian framework, values and ethos

Though not essential, experience teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) would be an advantage.
