Casual Teachers - Junior School and Secondary School

Please register your interest in working as a Casual Teacher -  for Junior School or for Secondary School

 

To be considered as one of our valued casual teachers, you will need the following:

  • Be an experienced, well-qualified teacher, who demonstrates enthusiasm for their subject and the ability to inspire primary or secondary age students
  • Have good classroom management skills
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff
  • Be confident in the use of technology and willing to embrace it to enhance learning in the classroom
  • Be expected to have an understanding of and commitment to the School’s Christian framework, values and ethos
  • A passion for teaching and learning and working with students and school communities to achieve educational outcomes
  • A Resume detailing your NESA accreditation, teaching experiences and achievements and a cover letter (all in one document for upload)
  • Details of two school referees or direct managers who can verify your classroom practise (this information can be provided in your cover letter or Resume)
  • A current Working with Children Clearance Number

St Andrew’s Cathedral School (SACS) is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican school located in two high-rise buildings in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The school offers students a strong academic program and extensive opportunities to be involved in sport, music, drama and outdoor education.
