What is the Role?

The School has an exemplary Visual Arts program and is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and highly experienced Visual Arts teacher to join the team of committed and professional staff. This is a permanent full-time position.

 

Who will the successful applicant be?

  • Extensive teaching experience in Visual Arts across Years 7-12
  • Expertise in Stage 6 Visual Arts
  • Highly developed communication and collaboration skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the Visual Arts team within the Design &  Visual Art Department
  • Understanding of maker mindset with a range of materials
  • Expertise with a range of digital technologies
  • Flexibility to work with a range of student abilities
  • An understanding of and commitment to the School’s Christian mission, values and ethos
  • IB VA teaching experience would be an advantage

Previous experience teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) would be an advantage but not necessary.
