TECHNOLOGICAL and APPLIED STUDIES (TAS) TEACHER Years 7-12
Part Time 0.8FTE - 4 days pw commencing Term 1, 2021

The School has an exemplary Design programme and is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and highly experienced Technology teacher to join our team of committed and professional staff. 

 

 To be successful in this role you will have:

 

Experience teaching Technology Mandatory

 

And one or more of the following electives:

  • Stage 5 Industrial Technology Timber
  • Stage 5 Industrial Technology Engineering
  • Stage 5 Industrial Technology Design and Technology

 Experience teaching stage 6 courses in the following areas an advantage:

  • Design and Technology
  • Engineering Science
  • Industrial Technology, Timber Products and Furniture Technologies

Plus:

  • highly developed communication and collaboration skills
  • understanding of maker mindset with a range of materials
  • expertise with a range of digital technologies
  • the flexibility to work with a range of student abilities
  • an understanding of and commitment to the School’s Christian framework, values and ethos

Previous experience teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) is highly desirable.
